Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa stated, “The main objective of this carnival is to promote tourism in the Kangra Valley. The state government is working to develop Kangra district as a tourism capital. In this regard, this carnival is being organized on a large scale, following the guidelines of the government.”

Grand Procession to Mark the Beginning

The carnival will kick off on December 24 with a grand procession, which will begin from the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex and end at the Police Ground. Bollywood to Himachal: A Night of Music

Eight cultural evenings will be organized during the carnival. On December 24, the Kerala-based multi-style music band “Thai Kudam” will spread the magic of music. On December 27, Kumar Sahil and on December 28, Himachali artists including Kuldeep Sharma and Karnail Rana will showcase their talent on stage.

On December 29, Punjabi singer Babbbu Mann will captivate the audience with his powerful voice. On December 30, rapper Paradox will fill the youth with energy.
